United In Service

4th Annual Guardian’s Cup
March 5–7, 2027
Tim Hortons Iceplex

Bringing first responders, military members, and veterans together through hockey, connection, and shared purpose.

More Than a Tournament

Now entering its fourth year, Guardian’s Cup has become an annual tradition bringing together active and retired first responders, military members, and veterans through hockey, camaraderie, and shared experience.

Since its beginning, the tournament has raised more than $30,000 in support of mental health and well-being resources for first responders. As Guardian’s Cup continues to grow, so does its commitment to using the tournament as a platform for giving back and strengthening support for those who serve.

It’s an opportunity to step away from the demands of the job, reconnect with old friends, build new relationships, and spend a weekend alongside people who understand the experiences that come with a life of service.

In 2027, Guardian’s Cup begins an exciting new chapter with Healing Heroes Foundation serving as the tournament’s Official Host Partner. Together, we’re working to strengthen the tournament, expand opportunities for connection and support, and build on the community that Guardian’s Cup has created.

Registration for the 2027 Guardian’s Cup opens September 7. We’re looking forward to welcoming teams to Rochester for three days of competition, camaraderie, and community—all united by a shared commitment to supporting those who serve.

Stronger Together

Hosted by Guardian’s Cup.

Supported by Healing Heroes Foundation.

Guardian’s Cup and Healing Heroes Foundation were built from a shared belief: when we bring those who serve together, we create opportunities for connection, support, and meaningful impact that extend far beyond the rink.

Beginning in 2027, Healing Heroes Foundation is proud to serve as the Official Host Partner of Guardian’s Cup, working alongside the tournament’s leadership to strengthen operations and support its continued growth.

Guardian’s Cup remains proudly led by the people and community who built it. Our role isn’t to change what makes this tournament special—it’s to stand beside it, share resources and experience, and help create even more opportunities to support first responders, military members, veterans, and their families.

By working together, we can strengthen both of our communities while advancing a shared commitment to mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and making sure those who serve know they never have to stand alone.

TWO ORGANIZATIONS. ONE SHARED PURPOSE. UNITED IN SERVICE.

Building Something Bigger

This partnership represents more than a single tournament. It’s an opportunity to explore what can happen when established first responder and military hockey communities come together around a shared purpose.

Our long-term vision is to help support and connect independently operated tournaments across the country, creating a broader network where organizations can share resources, strengthen community connections, and expand opportunities to support the mental health and well-being of those who serve.

Every tournament should remain rooted in the people, leadership, and traditions that make it unique. Our goal is to strengthen what already exists by connecting communities, sharing resources, and creating new opportunities for collaboration and collective impact.

Guardian’s Cup is an important part of that future—

and we’re excited to build it together.
