Our Favorite Weekend of the Year

In collaboration with the Boston Bruins Foundation, we host the BFit Heroes Cup—the nation’s largest first responder and military hockey tournament. This event is a powerful platform for connection, bringing us together to support the well-being of high-risk service professionals and their families.

For us, this isn't just a competition; it’s a way to take care of our own. Built on the pillars of connection, community, and camaraderie, this event serves as a vital platform to celebrate our shared commitment on and off the ice.

This tournament serves as a way for our community to give back. Through dedicated fundraising efforts, we're able to support important charitable causes and raise vital funds for direct care.

Our Commitment

This tournament goes beyond the rink to create a community where we can truly connect. We know that for those in high-stress professions, a weekend dedicated to competition and shared experience is a powerful way to decompress, refuel, and find a sense of balance outside of the job. By bringing people together through a shared passion for hockey and our unique tailgating community, we’ve built an environment where unity and open dialogue happen naturally. It’s more than just a weekend—it’s about strengthening our well-being and making sure no one has to manage the weight of the job alone.

Join the Community

There are several ways to get involved beyond the ice. We’re always looking for people who share our commitment to the mission:

  • Volunteer: We rely on a dedicated crew to make this weekend a success. We’d love to have you join the team and find a role that fits your expertise.

  • Sponsor: Gain significant brand exposure by partnering with us for the weekend. With an estimated 10,000 players, families, and fans joining us throughout the tournament, our sponsors have a powerful opportunity to get their mission in front of those who serve.

  • Vendors: Showcase your business at the tournament. Mental health organizations and first responder/veteran-owned small businesses receive discounted table fees.

  • Contractors: We prioritize veteran and first responder-owned businesses for event services. If you offer professional services that could enhance the tournament experience, let’s work together.

  • Individual Players: If you want to play but don’t have a team, let us know. We’ll add you to our Prospective Player List and reach out if a team needs an extra skater or goalie.

Each pin on this map marks the journey of first responders, military members, and veterans who have traveled near and far to join our hockey family. We are humbled by the growth of this community and honored to have so many heroes represented on our ice.
