Our Favorite Weekend of the Year

The BFit Heroes Cup, hosted by the Healing Heroes Foundation and the Boston Bruins Foundation, is the nation's largest adult hockey tournament for first responders, military members, and veterans. More than just a competition, it's a powerful catalyst for social change, addressing the stigma surrounding mental health. By creating a safe, supportive environment, the tournament helps normalize conversations about mental well-being and fosters a sense of camaraderie and connection among participants. Through friendly competition and dedicated fundraising efforts, we raise vital funds for mental health initiatives, scholarships, and other charitable causes, using the power of sport to unite a community that prioritizes healing and emotional support.

Our Commitment

This unique tournament goes beyond the rink to create a supportive community where first responders, military members, and veterans can connect. For those in high-stress professions, a weekend dedicated to friendly competition and shared experience is a powerful way to reduce the stigma often associated with seeking help. By creating an environment where players can bond over their shared passion for hockey, the tournament fosters a sense of unity and open dialogue, paving the way for crucial conversations about mental well-being.

Our Tournament's Global Footprint

We are humbled and proud to showcase the 39 locations that have been represented at the annual BFit Heroes Cup. Each pin on this map represents a team of first responders, military members, or veterans who have traveled from near and far to compete. This is more than just a tournament; it's a gathering of our hockey family, and we're honored to have welcomed so many heroes to the ice over the years.
